First ice has arrived finally in Central Ontario. Most anglers want action, food and fun but overlook the plentiful panfish available in most lakes. Almost everyone can remember their first fish and for most it was a sunfish, perch, crappie or rockbass. These smaller species are abundant, tasty and waiting in most lakes near you.
No need for long trips or expensive travel, grab your auger, light tackle, friends and family for a fun action filled day on the water.
